Well, I'm driving ahead with the next project. I've borrowed a character from the Hancock novel and continued the military historical fiction theme. Twist will be the story centers around his son and his association with a Sioux Indian. Hancock's title, "I am a Soldier, First and Always" seemed a likely name for a series. So, the next book in the "I am a Soldier" series will follow the exploits of this young man on the Great Plains, circa 1870's. Thought about making him a cavalryman in the image of his father. If you are familiar with the Plains Indian Wars (all those western cavalry movies about the Army and the Indians) then you know there is plenty of factual history on which the book can be based.
Oh yeah . . . I should mention that there is a lot to learn from the "Master Classes" being offered today on the Internet and I have learned so much from the Baldacci, Petterson, Brown and Gladwell presentations. I'll incorporate what I've learned into my next novel.
I'll keep you posted. Tell me what you think using the email entry at the bottom of the website!
